The Worldwide Mobile Data Services Survey (WMDSS) is a loosely organized consortium of universities and research institutes located around the world. The WMDSS conducts an annual standardized survey of mobile device users to learn about preferences, habits, and use patterns in key mobile markets. The 2006 survey represents the 5th time this survey has administered.
